Absolutely agree with you Andrew. John first HEARS (v.4) the number 144,000, then SEES (v.9) the vast multitude no one could count. Contra the dispensationalists, this is the same group, representing all of God's saved people under both the Old and New Covenant. 12x12x1000 = Old x New x lots and lots.
